On September 30, 2025, Sloopy Solar will host its second public informational meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Arts and Crafts Building at the Clark County Fairgrounds, 4401 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45502. Information describing the facility will be made available through an open house, poster board session format. Representatives from Sloopy Solar, including various subject matter experts, will be available to answer questions about the Project. Attendees may arrive anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to engage with Project representatives on hand to answer questions regarding the facility.

Sloopy Solar anticipates filing its application with the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) within 90 days of the second public informational meeting. OPSB’s case number for the project is 25-636-EL-BGN and the filings made with the OPSB in the Sloopy Solar case can be viewed at https://dis.puc.state.oh.us/CaseRecord.aspx?CaseNo=25-0636-EL-BGN.

Information about the Project, including maps, is available on the Sloopy Solar website, https://sloopysolar.invenergy.com for viewing by the public at their convenience prior to the public informational meeting. Individuals can also obtain additional information on the Project by contacting the Sloopy Solar team at (937) 765-5945 or sloopysolarproject@invenergy.com. The public can submit comments to Sloopy Solar anytime via the Sloopy Solar website or in writing via email.

Upon the receipt of the application, OPSB will review the application to determine if it is complete so OPSB staff can begin its investigation. Should OPSB find the application complete, OPSB will set a date for public hearing. The public hearing consists of two parts: a public hearing where OPSB will accept written or oral testimony and an adjudicatory hearing. 15 days prior to the public hearing, OPSB’s staff will submit a written report on the Project.

OPSB accepts written comments on the Project from interested persons at any time, as well as written or oral testimony from any person at the public hearing. Petitions to intervene in the adjudicatory hearing will be accepted by OPSB in accordance with a deadline set by OPSB. To request notification of the public hearing or submit comments in the docket, contact OPSB at 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215, 1-866-270-6772, or contact OPSB@puco.ohio.gov. Petitions to intervene should be addressed to Docketing Division, the Ohio Power Siting Board, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215 or can be electronically filed. All correspondence and petitions to intervene must include reference to Case No. 25-636-EL-BGN.
